The Wisconsin Flute Festival is a one-day educational flute event for flute players and flute enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. The festival provides the opportunity to meet and network with other Midwest flute players, participate in hands-on classes, perform in solo and group settings, access exhibitors and vendors of flutes and flute-related merchandise, as well as enjoy performances from a wide variety of professional musicians.

Interested in presenting a workshop, recital, activity, or class at the Festival?
The proposal deadline has passed (December 31, 2010) but we may still consider ideas for great presentations.
Featured artist, Virginia Broffitt, leads a masterclass open to flutists of all ages.
AUDITION REQUIRED for selection as a masterclass performer. All interested flutists must submit a high-quality recording (CD or Tape) of two contrasting movements from Bach's Partita in A minor for solo flute.
Audition materials and $20 fee are due March 31st.
The Crazylegs Classic is being held the same day as the WI Flute Festival. This Run/Walk brings thousands of people to the downtown Madison area. With the race starting at 10am we recommend getting to the festival early!
